Tart Happening
Tart has implemented a new wine list that everyone is very excited about. We are now featuring domestic California wines along with some French and Italian offerings as well.
On the Tart dinner menu, each dinner entrée on the “Meat & 3” menu now has two wine pairing suggestions.
This new wine list is an upgrade over our previous wine list and features upscale selections by the bottle as well as by the glass.
The following story was related to us by a gentleman who stays with us regularly. This guest works for Screen Actors Guild and is from New York City. He visits Los Angeles typically four times a year and always stays at Farmer’s Daughter as the SAG office is just down the street. A colleague of his always stayed at the Beverly Hills Hotel during her visits to Los Angeles. During one of her visits, the Beverly Hills Hotel was oversold and was unable to accommodate her reservation. She contacted her co-worker and asked him if he knew of an alternative place to stay that he liked. He referred her to Farmer’s Daughter. During her stay here one evening, she was having dinner on the patio at TART. A single gentleman from Australia was also dining alone on the patio and they struck up a conversation.
One thing led to another, and they developed a romance. She flew to Australia to visit him, and he in turn visited her in New York City.
They eventually got married and currently live in Australia. And, it all started at TART.
Personalized Name Plates
We are now honoring our regular guests with personalized name plates to commemorate their patronage. An embossed name plate is attached to the seat back of their favorite table. The response has been very enthusiastic! The guests love having their name on display and this special honor and recognition.
TART is also honoring our “pool jumpers” who jump in the pool, fully clothed, after enjoying their dinner. The Pool Warriors receive half off of their food bill for jumping in the pool, or will receive a 100% discount if they jump in fully clothed and with their cell phone. The Pool Warriors get their name enshrined on a special plaque, forever honored in the TART Wall of Fame.
