New drink: the John Daly
Oh my goodness, it is so hot today!
It must be at least 90 degrees in the shade. Luckily, my one respites is the wonderful beverage that I happen to be holding in my hand. It’s the new cocktail at Tart, it’s very much like an Arnold Palmer. You know, the mix of lemonade and ice tea. Except in this case, we have held the ice tea and used Jerimiah’s Sweet Tea infused Vodka.
It’s called the John Daly. It’s named that because that gentleman is a great golfer who also happens to be a great drinker. A man after my own heart. It’s one of those cocktails that doesn’t taste like booze, just sweet, crisp, and refreshing. I could easily have too many before I noticed it. But with this heat, on a sunny Southern Cali day, I feel like a couple of drinks.
I’m not swinging for the fences, maybe just the fairway.
